Craftsmanship Philosophy

Surgenor Amps is built on respect for the original designs that shaped music history and the players who depend on these circuits night after night.

Integrity First

I use proven parts, document every change, and communicate clearly before modifications occur. Your trust matters more than a quick turnaround.

Player-Focused Solutions

The goal is to make your rig perform the way you hear it in your head—whether that means restoring a vintage tone or engineering new versatility.

Continual Learning

I stay involved in builder communities, analyze classic schematics, and test new techniques so every amp on my bench benefits from current best practices.

Shop Policies

Parts & Modifications

You are welcome to provide specific components. I guarantee my workmanship for 60 days; customer-supplied parts retain the manufacturer’s warranty and liability.

Right of Refusal

I focus on tube amplifiers and select pedal electronics. If a project falls outside my expertise—such as complex surface-mount repairs—I will help you find a trusted alternative.

Payment & Pickup

Payment is due at completion (cash preferred). Equipment is released once the invoice is settled.

Questions about a specific situation? Reach out and I will walk through options before any work begins.
