Service FAQs

Do you work on solid-state or surface-mount amplifiers?

I primarily service tube amps, yet I’m happy to evaluate solid-state models that use repair-friendly through-hole components. Extensive surface-mount circuitry usually falls outside my scope.

Can I provide my own parts?

You are welcome to supply specific components. I guarantee my labor for 60 days, while customer-supplied parts remain the owner’s responsibility if they fail or cause damage.

How quickly can I get my amp back?

Typical turnaround is 7–10 business days after receiving parts. If you have a gig deadline, reach out—rush jobs may be possible depending on current workload and parts sourcing.
